The international debit card Visa Electron of Emporiki Bank Bulgaria is a modern, comfortable and secure way to operate with your money 24/7 without bringing large amounts of cash with you.

  • Visa Electron is issued to a card account in preferred currency – BGN or EUR;
  • you can receive your salary to your card account, pension, fees or rent to the Visa Electron card account, which gives you more favorable conditions when using other products of Emporiki Bank Bulgaria

  • There is no fee for initial issuance and renewal of the card after expiry;

Security
  • Your card has an electronic chip! The built in chip technology makes it impossible to copy data from it to another carrier in contrast to the cards with a magnetic tape
  • Your card is personal! Your name is written on the front side of the card and your signature – on the back of the card;
  • The access to your money is limited through PIN code entering which only you know. The PIN code can be changed any time at АТМ and in case you forget it, a new one will be issued!
  • The Bank investigates complaints for fraud and unauthorized transactions with cards.

  • by calling us at +359 898 800 999 phone, available 24 hours, 7 days a week;
  • by visiting any office of Emporiki Bank Bulgatia EAD;
  • by calling the 24h BORIKA phones (+359 2/8705 149 and +359 2/9707 616, you will need the number of the card in order to block it);
  • or by calling the Card Center of Emporiki Bank Bulgaria (+359 2/ 9171 184; +359 2/ 9171 171; +359 2/ 9171 146; +359 2/ 9171 126; 8.30 a.m. – 5.30 p.m. on business days).
